Post Hiatus
It’s been a while. I stopped blogging for a while due to extreme laziness and the PSN (Playstation Network) came back online. Yes, I only blogged because I’m bored. Not that I’m bored once again. I just feel like posting crap in the internet. So here we go..
Last week I went to this so called place named Boracay. It is an island which is famous for its white sand beach located in the Visayan region of the Philippines. We went there with my friends including my girlfriend. Monsoon season was just starting when we came there (There was also a tropical storm that week, which strengthened the monsoon weather around the island). Therefore, we were welcomed with rains and slighty strong winds. I already went there years ago. But I found the experience new due to this rainy season feeling.
Thinking back on my past vacations. It seems that the monsoon was always with us whenever we go on a beach for vacation. First one was at Coron, Palawan. Where we encountered monsoon rains during a 30-minute boat ride to the resort. I will never forget that experience. The waves were too high for our boat to handle and even our “Bankeros” were forced to wear their life jacket (They usually don’t use it). Our boat almost flew whenever a wave passes by. That vacation trip went well in the end and I’ll always go back there if I had the chance. Monsoon/Tropical Storm not included… Another vacation was when we went to Baguio. There was a tropical storm when we went there. At first we were all in doubts whether to continue the trip or not. Since the road going to Baguio was prone to lanslides. Well since the storm was about to leave the country, we decided to go on with it. It went well, and became one of the memorable trips we had. It seems that the weather just wants to be gloomy whenever we try to go outdoors.
So hows Boracay this year? Well, during our stay nothing much has changed. Except for the invasion of foreigners especially the Koreans (There just everywhere this days!). I won’t be surprised if there will be an impending invasion in the future.. lol!
